I am on spring break with my roosters as I am not only a mom but a teacher, and I live for my mini vacations throughout the year. This mini break sent my family to the Great Wolf Lodge with our six-year old twins while our fifteen year old went to the beach with Ian and his family. Yes, Blake needs a break from the Roosters.
The Roosters, twin boys, had a blast while their parents huffed and puffed up waterslide stairs all. Day. Long! I kid you not. I know I logged far more than 10,000 steps a day! However, it was fun watching them enjoy themselves and squeal with excitement. Pictures to follow soon!
The remainder of my week will be cleaning which I despise. I enjoy a clean house but cleaning with roosters is like raking leaves in a wind storm. I also have a play date on the calendar and teaching Blake how to drive (insert big scream here). I usually reserve this nerve-racking chore for the spouse, but he has a super busy week at work. Oh, the joys of being a Colonel in the military! However, he LOVES his job.
Okay, I'm off to figure out how to insert photos and fold a mound of laundry.
