Sunday Nap

Being a Slug

If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. ~ Proverbs 3:  24

Yesterday was a slug day for me.  I went to church, came home and had lunch and then took the longest nap I have taken since the twins were born.  It felt so good.  It was the kind of sleep where you wake up about to drown in drool.  (Okay, so that was TMI.)  I slept so long that I had to send the Colonel and big Rooster to get supper.

Here are a few random pictures from my albums.

This was taken yesterday after church.  It was red, white and blue Sunday for the little Roosters, so I thought I would join them.  Blake said he was able to find me because of the brightness of my shoes.  I'm just so thankful it is casual summer Sundays.  Blake has no sense of style.  He says the same about me though.  Nick is just so silly.  I can't get a picture of him without this face.  I'll use it to embarrass him with one day.  HA!

And these are a few peppers I got off my bush yesterday.  I got three more today.  I love hot peppers and crowder peas.  Yummy!

Seems everyone was a slug yesterday. Mouse found a peaceful spot in the living room.

This is John Ryan at the beach.  He decided he wanted to sleep with me.  When I woke up (from lack of room obviously), this is how I found him in my bed.

My Roosters were tired.  This is what they decided to do during the boat ride at Broadway.

I'm not sure where we picked up these two goones.  They "think" their hotness level is a 10.  BaHaaaaaaaaaaaa!  They are good roosters though.  I was very proud of how well they behaved at the beach.  It is so hard to believe that Blake is in high school.  Three more years and he will be in college.
