Sunday with the Roosters

A Wonderful Day with Roosters!

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.  ~Psalm 100:  1-5 (ESV)

The lady on the right is the wonderful Mrs. Stewart.  I snapped a picture of her singing this AM for the boys.  The quality of the picture is not good b/c it was taken on my phone and I sit in the last section in the sanctuary.
The music at Shandon just takes my breath away.  I LOVE singing hymns and wish I were better at it.  My grandmother always told me that when people sing to praise God, we are always in tune to Him.

Blake took this picture for me.  I was so cold today.  When I got home from church, I combed my hair out and put on a turtleneck and vest to stay warm.  It was 58 degrees today and raining and windy.
I'm on my way to a lunch date with my roosters.

Fly-eyes!

No, he isn't mad or upset.  That is just his camera look.  He hates having his picture taken as bad as I do.  So, yes, he does smile, but no, he doesn't remove his earbuds.

Trying to take a picture with all of us in it.  This picture makes me laugh b/c Blake is the only one that has sense enough to know where to look when taking a self picture on a phone.  HA!  I am totally clueless.  I'm doing good not to take a picture of my fingers.

The Roosters wanted CookOut, so we went there on our lunch date and then headed over to Target for a little shopping.
I love that CookOut has Bible verses on their cups as well as "God Bless America."

I love John Ryan's beautiful big blue eyes.

These were a few things I picked up from Target.  I only needed the hairdryer, but ended up with a couple of more things in my cart.
In Style is one of my favorite magazines.  I love cute outfits but have no sense of style whatsoever.  I have to copy what I find in magazines and on blogs that I read.  I literally make a list of things I need to look for to complete an outfit.  I actually like the yellow sweater with the blue pants above, but I won't wear the leopard print shoes with it.  I just liked the shoes and needed a new pair to wear with my slacks and a little black cotton dress that needs some dressing up.

After leaving Target, I was still in a shopping mood.  I came home and did some Internet shopping.  I am addicted to Zulily.  Today, I found two really cute, CHEAP dresses for church and two pair of shoes.  The shoes were so cute--black and white striped pumps with a little kitten heel.  They were so cute and CHEAP that I bought a blue and white pair as well.  I have a dress that I bought about a year ago that I haven't even popped the tags on b/c I haven't found the right shoes to wear with it.  I think the blue and white stripes will be perfect.

And don't forget:  Seven days till Sunday!  Monday is tomorrow but Sunday is coming!!
